  Welcome!
The natural world around me is a great influence in my work. I live on Canada's West Coast, surrounded by wonderful gardens and the Pacific Rainforest. I most often reach for 'green' when developing a new piece. One look at my fabric collection tells you that I love green in all her tints, shades and tones!

Learn about my journey as a quilter and fibre artist and see the workshops and lectures I have developed during my career, where I will be teaching over the next few years and how to schedule a workshop for your guild or shop. Click on the links in my Gallery to see my work.

I am the co-author of four books and designer of many patterns. My store offers you the opportunity to buy these direct from my company, Patchworks Studio, through a secure shopping cart.

Cruise to Alaska!
We had a GREAT time on our Hawaii Quilt Cruise - so....we're going to do it AGAIN!

Next we're off to Alaska. Join Daphne Greig, Susan Purney Mark, Cathy Miller (the Singing Quilter) and Brenda Stengel (owner of Satin Moon Quilt Shop) as we travel the Inside Passage to Ketchikan, Juneau and Skagway in September 2010. We'll be hosted by Holland America's Zuiderdam for this 7-day adventure - September 11 through 18, departing from Vancouver, BC.

Here is a PDF brochure basic information. Pricing is preliminary at this time.

I'm on The Quilt Show with Ricky Tims & Alex Anderson: Episode #309! Check out the slideshow. We had a GREAT TIME with Alex & Ricky!

I have two new Give & Take Appliqué™ patterns. This fused appliqué technique gives two for one with amazing positive/negative results! With careful cutting of each appliqué piece you have the motifs for two blocks. Splashed! uses the Stonehenge fabric line from Northcott. Aztec Sun is a new way to make New York Beauty style blocks without paper piecing or sewing curved seams. You'll LOVE this technique!
